I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Economics Department at the University of Texas at Austin. My research interests are primarily in labor economics with a focus on family economics.

My current work examines the effect of expanding Medicaid benefits for pregnant women on entrepreneurship and job mobility. I have also investigated the effect of fertility on the migration decision and how preschool subsidies affect a mother's decision to work, as well as the childcare arrangements and economic outcomes of non-subsidized siblings.

I majored in Economics at Wellesley College and worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston after graduation. I am currently teaching economics courses at the St. Edward's University and Austin Community College.
